about TCYP

Timberlane is located in the heart of Tallahassee, Florida, the home to Florida State University, Florida A&M University, Flagler College, and Tallahassee Community College. It just makes sense for the college and young professionals ministry (TCYP) to be an active part of the Timberlane congregation.

The primary focus of TCYP is its motto: “Finding God in the Transition.” Most of those who participate in the ministry are in their 20s and 30s. While trying to find their place in the real world, they’re discovering the role God plays in their own stories.

TCYP meets each Sunday morning at 10:30. Girls and guys hold separate Bible studies every other Thursday evening at 6:30 (girls) and 7:00 (guys). Once a month, the group meets for Sunday night dinners at a local restaurant. The fourth Sunday of every month, TCYP participates in a service project in the community as part of SOS at Timberlane.
